چکیده
Ameloblastomas are benign tumors whose importance lies in its potential to grow into enormous size with resulting bone deformity. Unicystic ameloblastoma (UA) refers to those cystic lesions that show clinical, radiographic, or gross features of a mandibular cyst, but on histological examination show a typical ameloblastomatous epithelium lining part of the cyst cavity, with or without luminal and/or mural tumour growth. The clinical and radiographic features of UCA, its differential diagnosis, histopathology and current concepts of management have been discussed. We report a case of which show varied clinical and radiographic features and which histopatholoIgicaly was unicystic variant and was aggressively treated rather than a conservative approach which is a trade mark of cystic ameloblastoma

Glandular odontogenic cyst (GOC) associated with ameloblastoma is an exceedingly rare histologic presentation with no known clinical significance or treatment applications. Four cases have been reported, three in the mandible and one in the maxilla. The age range is 14-65 and with male predilection. All four presented with swellings and two with pain. We add one more case to the literature of a...

Ameloblastomas are tumors of odontogenic epithelial origin. The term unicystic ameloblastoma is used to describe cystic lesions with clinico-radiographic features resembling an odontogenic cyst, but histologically showing the presence of ameloblastomatous epithelium lining part of the cyst cavity. A large majority of lesions are found in the mandible, and usually cause a painless swelling of th...

Ameloblastoma is a benign odontogenic neoplasm which frequently affects the mandible. The term ameloblastoma includes several clinico-radiological and histological types. Apart from the most commonly encountered clinicopathologic models there are few variants, whose biological profile is unknown or not elicited. The reason for lack of understanding is the scarcity of case report published in th...

Its incidence, combined with its clinical behavior, makes ameloblastoma the most significant odontogenic neoplasm. Unicystic ameloblastoma (UA) refers to those cystic lesions that show clinical, radiographic, o...
